The Otherworld and its fine inhabitants have long occupied a special place in our imaginations, filling in the dark and yawning chasms of the unknown and helping us cope with the mysteries of loss, death, and the afterlife.

In this unfinished project from my time at Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, a woman goes to have a cigarette in her garden as a momentary reprieve from her grief, and is spirited away - over hill, over dale, through bush, through briar - by the Good People, never to return.
